I have been a patient with Homerton for over a year now, after a failed first cycle of IVF and missing our second slot due to communication issues from Homerton you can imagine my husband and I have been very anxious and worried about what is to come. We met with Dr Garima Srivastava who was so caring, kind and listened to us. We were not rushed or made to feel like any of this was our fault. Dr Srivastava did everything she could to help and has put us in the right direction and has got the ball rolling for us. With appointments at Homerton you don't always see the same Dr but I do hope our paths cross again during out 2nd round.

As a person going through fertility issues, you go through a great deal of emotional and mental issues, so having a doctor who listens, understands and cares for your needs is very important. Meeting Dr Garima Srivastava was a blessing because she has this positive attitude about her and also was also right about the advice she gave me. Great Doctor.

My experience at the Homerton University Hospital is excellent. I am still doing the fertility treatment and I couldn't feel any happier with Dr Garima, she has been great support and has provided us with so much information to make the transition a lot easier. Answered all our questions and kept all the details very clear to us, everything very easy to understand. We are now trying our frozen embryo cycle after a failed fresh embryo transfer and I think if it wasn't for the support given by Dr Garima and the team at Homerton University Hospital and their reassurance I wouldn't have done so well. It is a difficult moment when you realise it didn't work, but it helps having a doctor that makes sure you don't blame yourself for the failure. I feel cared and well looked after, I know it can be very hard for others but staying positive always helps to see the people who are trying to help you in a positive way. I love when Dr Garima tells me she is going to make sure my cycle works this time, that I have been waiting too long and I will have my baby soon, always positive. I simply find her very supportive and understanding. Thank you so much for everything!

Ms Srivastava is very caring. Listens to my concerns and involved me in all the care that was given to me. She always has a smile and is very warm. My husband and I are always comfortable and enjoyed meeting her at the appointments. She takes the time explain complex details. She's a very caring doctor.

Garima was extremely helpful and informative when I came into the clinic for Fertility Treatment following my breast cancer diagnosis. She was sympathetic and understanding and answered any questions myself and my partner had asked with honesty and compassion.

Training in both the parts of the world has given me understanding and respect for people from all the parts of the world.
.
My main areas of interest are to help couples who are finding it difficult to have a baby. I trained extensively in this area as I have discovered that I had a particular talent for this areas of medicine which needed sensitivity to understand what couples go through . I am known for my calm, sensitive and caring approach, which my patients find extremely reassuring.
I am committed to provide excellent evidence based services, to couples who are trying for a baby on all aspects of fertility. I am also a trainer for various aspects of assisted conception through British Fertility Society.

Clinical work has always been my primary interest, rather than academic research.
